but someone i know bought their very old parents a puppy. isn’t that a little unfair? think about it. dogs live about 12-14 years usually. they’re in their 80’s. that puppy is gonna grow up very attached to them and then (i dont want to sound mean) but in like 5, 6 years her owners aren’t going to be around…and that puppy is going to be heartbroken. just thinking...
